1) How has Dr. Lo and the staff at East Bay Vision Center helped shape your experience with Ortho-K?
“Being under Dr. Lo’s care, I got to be more comfortable with wearing contact lenses in general. I was happy that my vision was stable for the time being, and not getting worse. She taught me how to wear contact lenses, and now I am able to put them on with ease.”
2) Personally, what benefits of Ortho-K are you happiest about?
“I was able to do normal things like swimming, running, etc without worrying about contacts in my eye during the day. It is extremely convenient for me, since these contacts are worn only while sleeping!”
3) How long have you been wearing Ortho-K lenses? Do you remember how you first heard about it?
“I have been wearing Ortho-K lenses for 10 years now. When I first heard about these lenses, I thought they were super cool since these lenses shape your eyes in a certain way so that you can see clearly in the daytime.”
4) What would you say is the most challenging or difficult part of learning to use Ortho-lens K?
“I would say the most challenging part would be the feeling of the hard contacts when I was sleeping. However, with time and wearing them every night, I was able to get used to it pretty quickly.”
